The Visual Arts program utilizes a variety of assessment strategies.  Selected response modes are paper and pencil requiring students to select via multiple choice, matching, circle best response, etc.  The Brief Constructed Response (BCR) may require the student to write sentences or a paragraph.  It may also require the student to sketch, chart or show his/her work.
 On-Demand Products and Long-Term Products are also used in the art program.  On-Demand strategies may require students to present the product, provide extended constructed responses (ECR) via essay, and to conduct an oral presentation.  While the Long-Term Product strategy may require the student to present a portfolio, a body of works, in addition to the strategies required in the On-Demand Product assessment
