    We make a difference at Apple Grove! We raised over $2,100.00 for the American Heart Association through our Jump Rope for Heart event! Thank you for your continued support!

    Apple Grove has been working diligently to earn our green school certificate. This year we are one of the 26 schools in the county to reach this milestone! Congratulations!!

    Our third-grade students raised ten sunfish. Of the ten we had, only one survived. "Fat Daddy" was released into the wild Wednesday, May 3, 2017. Thirty of our star students attended the event.

                                                                       Jeremy       Jeremy Turcios' Artwork                                                                                                  The Maryland Masters Award was created to celebrate Maryland's achievements and innovations
    through the arts.  Apple Grove is proud to announce that Jeremy Turcios in the Third Grade is one of three students being honored. The  unveiling ceremony where three students in PGCPS (one from each level) will be recognized by the Comptroller takes place this week. During    the    ceremony,    the    Comptroller    will discuss    the    importance    of    arts    education    and    meet    with    the    students.    All    three    pieces    will    then    be    displayed    in    the    Comptroller’s    Annapolis    office    for    two    months. Congratulations Jeremy!


    Here is the link to our cluster concert performance from Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Oxon Hill High School for the Apple Grove 4th, 5th, and 6th grade band members combined with other students from several elementary schools, John Hanson, Oxon Hill Middle and High school.
