Vision
We at Annapolis Road Academy are committed to the belief
“Children Come First.”
We will create a community of learners, and through teaching and
learning commit to “Moving Students to the Next Level.”
We will increase student achievement both academically and
behaviorally by developing skills and providing strategies to enable
students to make better choices than they have in the past.
This community of learners will share responsibility of student
success through mentoring, frequent monitoring of student progress,
positive relationships with parents, quality and engaging student
work, and ongoing collaboration among staff to improve teaching
and learning.
All stakeholders will be involved in leadership roles as we seek to
involve the local community in all aspects of our students’ future to
orient our students to the endless possibilities of their potential and
to celebrate their success.
The Annapolis Road Academy will be governed by the Five Core Beliefs of PGCPS:
