The Department of Alternative Educational Options provides a cadre of intervention

academies and schools to assist Prince George's County Public School students who

have not found academic success in the traditional school setting and are seeking

to overcome the challenges to learning, achieve high academic levels and

ultimately graduate.  The department supports alternative academies for students

in grades 6 through 12 and alternative schools for recovery credit opportunities in

grades 9 through 12.  The programs include:
